My Voicework :: Parodies & Production

Trendkillah is my musical genre parody project. It began Winter break 2005 at the recording studio my friend was working at. There was a rapper there who was pretty funny (you know) and I decided we should take the beat the engineer made for him and let me do my own rap.

I wrote some dumb lyrics and we put it together in about an hour. The following night I decided to lampoon screamo music and the rest is history. Hopefully more genre parodies will be recorded but you never know. There are many genres left so I believe I have my work cut out for me. Radio Disney Internship Productions

From summer 2006 until the spring of 2007 I did part-time production and voice work at Radio Disney AM1290 Richmond. I have learned a lot while having a complete and utter blast. I recorded some promos and commercials as well as help to produce and edit a show they put on called Kids Concerns. I also edited a couple promos I didn't record myself.

Production Work, Voices & One Man Band Songs

I created a myspace called Adam's Productions for some of the voice work I am doing. Now featured on this page is the "Morning Show" project I did in my radio media class spring semester of 2006. This project includes the Trendkillah screamo parody "You Ran Over My Heart". The next three tracks are examples of my One Man Band music. The newest track "Dance Party" is an ode to the dance music I listened to, "Give Me Your Hand" is a groovy little ditty with no particular inspiration, and "We Don't Need No War" is obviously a reggae inspired track. :: Check these tracks out at Adam's Productions at MySpace.com

This was a fake morning show of sorts that my best friend Alex and I did together throughout middle school and even into parts of high school. We recorded 12 tapes full of goofy off the wall stuff and I have saved them all. I have amazing memories of those days and they really pushed me to get back into that kind of stuff with voice work. Nothing makes me happier than making dumb noises and saying completely stupid things. Here are four little skits we recorded for our first and last actual Adam and Partow cd that was never actually made.
